Central Minnesota Montessori School (CMMS)

St. Cloud, Minnesota | Full-Time | 12-Month Position

​Central Minnesota Montessori School is seeking a Program Manager / Lead Classroom Teacher to support our 3–6 age Montessori program. This position combines classroom teaching, program leadership, family communication, daily operations, enrollment support, and licensing compliance.

​

The ideal candidate is calm, organized, collaborative, dependable, and committed to authentic Montessori education and a warm, child-centered school culture.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as Lead Classroom Teacher and support student learning and development

• Maintain an authentic Montessori classroom environment

• Support staff onboarding, scheduling, mentoring, and daily operations

• Communicate clearly and consistently with families, staff, and the Board

• Ensure compliance with Minnesota DHS childcare licensing requirements

• Lead enrollment efforts, school tours, and family engagement

• Support budgeting, reporting, marketing, and school improvement efforts

• Attend Board meetings and provide updates on program operations
   

Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or related field preferred

• Montessori credential preferred

• Early childhood or Montessori experience preferred

• Leadership, program coordination, or operations experience preferred

• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

• Must meet Minnesota DHS Director qualification requirements
